McCandless Truck Center - Aurora is seeking a Parts Purchasing Manager to lead supplier relationships, inventory control, and purchasing processes across the network. You will optimize fill rates, manage min/max, review PO data, and drive cost savings while collaborating with branches and departments.

Ideal candidates bring strong purchasing and analytical skills, experience with Excel/Power BI, and a track record of reliable supplier performance. This full-time role is on-site in Aurora, CO.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer relations skills.
• Strong math, reading comprehension, and analytical abilities.
• Purchasing, inventory control, warehouse, or supply chain experience preferred.
• Familiarity with distribution center, warehouse, and branch operations.
• Ability to analyze reports and supplier performance.
• Learn and use company software systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain supplier relationships to support a reliable supply chain.
• Monitor vendor performance, lead times, backorders, pricing accuracy, and issue resolution.
• Place and manage purchase orders based on demand and stock levels.
• Review and maintain min/max settings based on demand and branch needs.
• Review inventory turns, days' supply, overstock, and demand trends to guide purchasing decisions.
• Generate reports to support purchasing decisions and financial analysis.
