Job summary

TRU Builders, a Surprise, AZ-based residential construction company, is seeking a Business Development Specialist who builds relationships with architects, interior designers, Realtors, developers, and homeowners to guide clients through early stages.

This role focuses on growing custom homes, remodels, and additions, attending events, expanding in new markets, and coordinating with Preconstruction and Production teams to ensure a seamless client experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business development, relationship management, consultative sales, or client development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong networking abilities.
• Experience using CRM software to manage leads and customer relationships.
• Highly organized with strong follow-up and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with architects, interior designers, Realtors, developers, and referral partners.
• Attend networking events, industry functions, and community activities to grow TRU Builders' presence.
• Identify and develop new opportunities for custom homes, remodels, and residential additions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective clients during the initial sales process.
• Coordinate with the Preconstruction and Production teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
