Qualifications

• 5+ years estimating experience in residential construction.
• Experience estimating custom homes, large remodels, and additions.
• Procurement and purchasing experience for residential projects.
• Ability to read and interpret complete construction plan sets.
• Experience developing detailed budgets and quantity takeoffs.
• Understanding of residential building methods, materials, and sequencing.
• Experience coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate construction estimates from residential plan sets (architectural, structural, MEP).
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop project budgets.
• Solicit and compare bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Build and maintain budgets within Buildertrend before proposals.
• Continuously improve estimating templates and cost databases.
