Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Manager within Business Development to directly support the department's mission and lead parts of projects, deals and opportunities. The role requires coordinating with Mayo leadership and external entities while aligning with strategic goals across Partnerships, Technology Development and Commercialization areas.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to perform successfully in a business development/ technology commercialization role, and to navigate required complex inter- and intra-organizational issues and relationships.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with a variety of different people with diverse backgrounds.
• Must have strong project management and time management skills and the ability to manage several initiatives simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Support Mayo Clinic Business Development mission; lead portions of projects, activities, deals and opportunities.
• Report status to department leadership and represent the department in meetings as warranted.
• Manage workflows and resources to achieve project outcomes within Partnerships, Commercialization and Technology Development areas.
• Collaborate with other Mayo Clinic departments and external entities as needed.
