Job summary

Chase is seeking an Associate for its Corporate Development team in New York City. You will support strategic opportunities across Consumer Bank and Wealth Management, leading analyses and cross‑functional collaboration to shape partnerships, investments, and potential acquisitions.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple workstreams, and a proven track record in strategy or corporate development within a large financial institution.

Qualifications

• 4+ years industry experience in financial services and/or management consulting
• BS degree or equivalent experience required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Outstanding communication skills (oral and written)
• Organized, detail-oriented with solid project management
• Ability to build relationships across internal and external stakeholders
• Curiosity in fintech and ability to learn quickly
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience in strategy and/or corporate development at a large institution
• Experience in Wealth Management and/or Consumer Banking

Responsibilities

• Support evaluation, negotiation, and execution of strategic opportunities for Consumer Bank and Wealth Management
• Develop book of work and pipeline with lines of business, analyze strategy and competitive landscape, lead diligence
• Support presentations and proposals to senior executives across Consumer Bank and Wealth Management
• Develop partner proposals with lines of business, including vision, economics, and product integration
• Collaborate with finance, legal, and other partners to build business cases and terms
• Monitor external environment for competitive developments and partnership opportunities
• Ensure deals align with firmwide policies and controls
