Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above with 3–4 years in government relations, fundraising and/or public relations.
• Exceptional writing and time management abilities with outstanding oral presentation and public speaking skills.
• Outgoing, proactive, skilled communicator capable of building external relationships while managing multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Center lobbying efforts at the City and State level, represent the Center with officials, schedule meetings, draft testimony, and track lobbying results.
• Coordinate multi-phase annual City Council item and budget requests; assist with fundraising tasks and administrator duties.
• Research and develop relationships with elected officials and explore new channels of support.
• Facilitate the lobbying working group and supervise interns in daily tasks.
• Liaise with donors and assist in fundraising solicitations and events as needed.
• Engage with stakeholders and plan public platform opportunities to boost Center visibility.
