Job summary

Pearson is seeking an Advanced Specialist, Partnership Management to lead and grow large-scale assessment programs in collaboration with client staff and internal teams. The role focuses on development, administration, and providing high-quality services under contract constraints.

The position is hybrid (remote/office) with travel up to 25% and reporting to a Lead, Partnership Management. A related advanced degree and experience in educational testing are preferred.

Qualifications

• Advanced graduate degree with a concentration in policy, assessment, or measurement (in education or a related field).
• Experience in management in large-scale testing, preferably in certification and licensing.
• Professional experience managing and supporting project & program contracts.
• 3 years of experience in the educational testing and assessment industry preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and facilitation skills.
• Experience directing the activities of staff in planning, organizing, scheduling, monitoring, and evaluating work.
• Experience in client relationship management and project management.
• Travel as needed up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Brings knowledge of large-scale assessment and measurement to design and implement tests and program activities.
• Manages components of large-scale assessment activities including development, administration, and scoring.
• Oversees work plans and ensures meeting project deliverables.
• Maintains client relationships and communicates project status and value.
• Represents both client and corporate perspectives in decision-making.
• Supports proposal and contract development to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
