Job summary

10x Genomics seeks a Head of Strategic Partnerships to drive long-term commercial revenue through high-value, multi-year collaborations across the AI ecosystem and biopharma. You will design partnership terms, craft a compelling business case, and own relationships with cross-functional teams and executive leadership as deals mature.

You will build awareness and demand across AI and data ecosystems, source and close deals, and manage the largest partnerships post-signing, with travel up to 40%.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of structuring and closing large, multi-year commercial deals.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and executive stakeholder alignment.
• Strong understanding of AI, biopharma ecosystems, and data licensing.

Responsibilities

• Map and prioritize target partners across AI and biopharma ecosystems and build engagement plans.
• Lead market development to build awareness and demand ahead of deals.
• Develop and translate customer needs into internal platform/product priorities.
• Define partnership terms, value models, and frameworks for collaboration.
• Source, structure, and close high-value deals with Legal, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and R&D.
• Manage and expand the largest strategic relationships post-signing.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to triage inbound opportunities and investments.
• Travel up to 40% as needed.
