10x Genomics is seeking an entrepreneurial leader to define a bold vision for new AI-enabled products and data offerings. Based at our Pleasanton, CA headquarters, the role may be remote or hybrid and focuses on translating opportunities into scalable businesses and partnerships that leverage 10x-generated data and AI innovations.

Qualifications

• Experience (including prior 0→1) with ideation, evaluation, GTM, and scaling of a business that sells datasets or insights.
• Deep familiarity with data and insights needs within Pharma R&D or Dx development.
• High bias to action, iteration, and engagement to rapidly develop and test ideas.
• Strong product leadership skills, with understanding of data and insight product architectures.
• Fluency in modern AI and agentic tools, capabilities, and trends.
• Nuanced understanding of biological data types and measurement tools, ideally single cell or spatial genomics.
• Understanding regulatory frameworks that impact data and insights offerings.
• Experience building and coordinating new teams and roles within an organization.
• Experience evaluating partnerships and M&A opportunities and integration of assets.
• Ability to work across all functions and seniority levels.
• Excellent communicator to multiple audiences.
• Connections with AI/ML, life sciences, pharma, or clinical leaders.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate opportunities for new offerings by combining 10x-generated data with the AI landscape.
• Translate opportunities into investable proposals leveraging 10x capabilities and roadmap.
• Develop cross-disciplinary execution plans and identify novel capabilities needed.
• Champion the vision with senior leadership and the Board to secure alignment and investment.
• Lead the execution of new opportunities.
