Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Austin, Texas seeks an engineering student for our Communications Infrastructure and Datacenter End Market team. You will help define strategy by analyzing opportunities and developing market requirements and business plans that support differentiated semiconductor products and services.

The internship offers mentorship, growth opportunities, and exposure to executives. You will work up to 40 hours per week and gain valuable industry experience in a fast-paced semiconductor

Qualifications

• Sophomore student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with at least a 3.0 GPA.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Availability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.

Responsibilities

• Analyze datacenter and communications infrastructure opportunities to identify GF differentiators.
• Evaluate market opportunities including size, competition, target customers, and trends.
• Create market requirements for GF solutions in communications infrastructure and datacenter markets.
