POSITION SUMMARY

The Strategic Partnerships Executive (SPE) is responsible for expanding Acro’s business with the State of New Mexico (SoNM) by building strong relationships with existing and new stakeholders, providing high-touch customer service, and identifying opportunities to grow Acro’s business with government entities, companies, and other assigned accounts throughout New Mexico.

The SPE will sell and expand Acro’s workforce solutions, including IT staffing, IT consulting/project services, professional and non-IT staffing, engineering, finance and accounting staffing, MSP, and VMS services. The role will focus primarily on professional placements while supporting nonprofessional staffing as needed.

The SPE will serve as the subject matter expert for assigned accounts, partnering closely with clients and Acro’s recruiting teams to maximize placements, contractor retention, client satisfaction, and account growth. The role will also introduce Acro’s IT services and project solutions to IT-focused clients and coordinate business development opportunities with Acro’s IT solutions experts.

This position is based in Albuquerque or Santa Fe, New Mexico, and requires regular travel and in-person meetings with clients and prospects throughout New Mexico and other assigned accounts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
State of New Mexico Account Management & Growth
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing SoNM using managers and stakeholders through regular substantive exchanges of information (SEIs), including in-person office meetings, breakfast, lunch, dinner, or other appropriate meetings.
  • Maintain and increase contractor headcount at existing SoNM accounts by understanding current workforce needs, upcoming requirements, client satisfaction, contractor performance, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain visibility into all open job requirements and the quality and quantity of Acro’s candidate submissions against each requirement.
  • Work closely with Acro’s recruiting organization to provide all required information and take the necessary actions to maximize placements at assigned SoNM accounts.
  • Identify and sell Acro’s IT staffing and IT project services to new SoNM departments and hire managers.
  • Include SEIs with new SoNM hiring managers in weekly sales plans, present Acro’s credentials, and request opportunities to fill open job orders.
  • Prioritize the fulfillment of new job orders by coordinating with Acro’s recruiting and onboarding teams.
  • Review candidate profiles to ensure quality matches with hiring manager expectations before submission, where applicable.
  • Support interview scheduling, onboarding, and start-date activities.
  • Conduct post-start follow-up to ensure hiring manager satisfaction with assigned workers.
  • Deliver prompt, attentive, and collaborative customer service throughout the client and contractor lifecycle.
Business Development & Account Expansion
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with government entities and private-sector companies throughout New Mexico and other assigned accounts.
  • Sell Acro’s staffing and workforce solutions, including IT staffing, IT consulting/project services, professional staffing, engineering, finance and accounting, administrative, manufacturing, MSP, and VMS services.
  • Build relationships with prospective clients, understand their workforce and business needs, present Acro’s capabilities, and secure opportunities to provide services.
  • Include substantive exchanges of information with prospects in weekly sales plans, present Acro’s credentials, and request opportunities to provide one or more of Acro’s services.
  • Prioritize the delivery of services once opportunities are obtained and work with applicable Acro stakeholders to ensure services meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Conduct follow-up after-service delivery to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Develop account growth strategies to expand Acro’s presence, contractor headcount, labor categories, and service offerings within assigned accounts.
  • Network with appropriate clients and MSP representatives to generate referrals and identify additional business opportunities.
  • Request referrals to other programs managed by MSP representatives, where applicable.
  • Assist in introducing and selling services offered by other Acro divisions, including outsourcing and consulting projects.
  • Partner closely with Acro’s recruiting teams to ensure a thorough understanding of client requirements and maximize fulfillment of open positions.
  • Meet regularly with assigned recruiting teams to communicate client feedback, changes to job descriptions, interview schedules, and requisition status.
  • Understand the number and qualifications of candidates ready for submission for each job order and brainstorm with recruiting teams to ensure all possible candidate sources are being utilized.
  • Reviewing candidate profiles and providing guidance to recruiting practice leads to improve candidate alignment with customer needs for future submissions.
  • Meet with clients and MSP representatives, wherever possible, to obtain additional information beyond written job descriptions and gain a deeper understanding of client requirements.
  • Research client organizations and workforce need to provide accurate and complete information to the recruiting team.
  • Escort candidates to client interviews, where applicable, and provide coaching and instruction before and after interviews.
  • Troubleshoot customer service issues and follow through to ensure timely resolution in accordance with client expectations.
  • Facilitate performance evaluations, corrections to performance issues, wage adjustments, promotions, performance-based bonuses, and other similar retention-promoting measures.
  • Build relationships with assigned contractors to support retention and identify upcoming client workforce needs.
  • Monitor client performance metrics and work with leadership and recruiting teams to ensure Acro remains a top-performing supplier.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all open positions, candidate activity, placement opportunities, and account performance.
  • Maintain visibility into the number and quality of candidate submissions and the status of each submission and open position.
  • Identify additional avenues for growth at assigned accounts, including opportunities to expand into additional labor categories and service offerings.
  • Recommend strategies to improve placement rates, contractor retention, client satisfaction, and overall account growth.
  • Prepare and present fulfillment activity, account metrics, and other reports to the SVP of ATPSG and Acro management as required.
  • Document all sales and account-development activities in Acro’s CRM tool.
  • Participate in the development of annual business and goal planning.
  • Work on special projects, including job fairs and internal team initiatives, as assigned.
  • Collaborate with other departments and work as a team member when required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in the staffing industry.
  • At least 3 years in a client-facing role as a recruiter, client service representative, client relationship manager, account manager, or similar position within the staffing industry.
  • Experience selling and placing professional roles such as Information Technology (IT), Engineering, Finance & Accounting, Administrative, and Manufacturing.
  • Experience selling staffing services within government entities is desirable.
  • Experience growing contractor headcounts within newly acquired customers through active business development efforts is required.
  • Must currently be located in Albuquerque or Santa Fe, New Mexico.
