Job summary

TricorBraun in the United States is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead sourcing and supply chain activities focused on primary packaging. You will develop strategies, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost optimization and continuity across product categories.

The role emphasizes packaging expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven decision making to deliver innovative packaging solutions and customer success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, procurement, or packaging environments.
• Primary packaging industry experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with packaging materials such as plastic containers, closures, dispensers, glass, or flexible packaging.
• Ability to lead supplier evaluations, price reviews, and negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies across product categories.
• Manage supplier relationships and ongoing performance reviews.
• Lead RFQs and supplier evaluations with pricing analyses.
• Provide technical sourcing expertise on packaging materials and capabilities.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and commercial terms.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Procurement, Quality on programs.
• Identify supply risks and mitigation strategies.
• Analyze market trends and technologies for innovation and cost savings.
• Analyze sourcing data using ERP/CRM to support decisions.
