Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking a senior Site P&O Leader to set strategic direction for people & organization at the DPM US site. You will advise the Site Head, drive culture, engagement, and workforce planning, and lead organizational development across the site.

You will partner with the Site Leadership Team and oversee training strategy, ensuring effective capability development and alignment with global priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, or a relevant field from an accredited university.
• Master’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, or relevant field is preferred.
• PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of broad human resources management experience required, preferably in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of five (5) years of direct people management experience required.
• Excellent working knowledge of Human Resource functions and processes required.
• Working knowledge of U.S. employment law at the federal, state & local level; mergers, acquisitions and integrations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• As member of Site Leadership team, act as the trusted strategic P&O Partner and advisor for the Site Head and Site Leadership team.
• Owner of the P&O agenda at the Site(s) for culture and engagement, organizational development, and workforce planning.
• Lead discussions about organizational response and development for business challenges in Business Review.
• As member of Site Leadership Team, own training strategy and capability development for the Site.
• Assess effectiveness and pursue continuous improvement of P&O processes and employee lifecycle.
• Lead the P&O team with clear feedback and empower reports to do the same.
• Lead special projects such as M&A integration planning and handover to operations.
• Champion Novo Nordisk values and collaborate with stakeholders across functions.
• Ensure alignment with global/local policies including safety & environmental guidelines.
