Job summary

Gross Mendelsohn in US office seeks an experienced OAS Manager to lead outsourced accounting engagements and mentor a growing team. You will manage client portfolios, deliver strategic accounting services, and leverage cloud-based platforms to provide actionable financial insights across multiple entities.

You will supervise staff, drive process improvements, and collaborate with audit, tax, and advisory teams to grow the OAS practice. CPA and GAAP expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Active CPA license required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Public accounting and/or outsourced accounting experience preferred.
• Experience managing multiple client engagements simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead client relationships as the primary relationship manager for outsourced accounting clients.
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with business owners, executives, and boards.
• Oversee month-end close processes, financial statements, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, KPI reporting, and financial planning.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on complex matters and coordinate with auditors.
• Mentor Seniors, Staff Accountants, and Associates; support recruitment and evaluations.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
