Job summary

Gross Mendelsohn seeks an experienced Audit Senior to lead engagements and mentor staff. You will manage audits, reviews, and compilations for a diverse client base including nonprofits and government contractors, ensuring quality and compliance with GAAP and firm policies.

You will collaborate with managers and partners, develop client relationships, and stay current on accounting standards while supporting firm initiatives and professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required.
• CPA license is required or actively pursuing licensure.
• 4–6 years of audit and accounting experience in public accounting.
• Experience as in-charge on audit engagements; nonprofit and gov contracting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as in-charge on audit, review, and compilation engagements.
• Plan and execute audit engagements for privately held and nonprofit clients.
• Prepare and review workpapers, financial statements, and related documentation.
• Evaluate internal controls and strengthen financial reporting processes.
• Serve as primary client contact and communicate findings to management.
• Manage staff, deadlines, and engagement workflow.
