Job summary

Talen Energy seeks a Supervisor – Outage Planning & Scheduling to lead development and execution of integrated outage schedules for two units. You will supervise schedulers, drive logic-driven plans, and ensure alignment with plant procedures and ALARA principles.

Responsibilities include cross-functional coordination, risk-informed scheduling, and readiness reviews to support safe, compliant outage execution. Strong leadership and Primavera P6 expertise required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in outage planning/scheduling or similar in regulated heavy industry.
• Experience supervising cross-functional schedulers and planners.
• Knowledge of Nuclear plant operations and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead outage scheduling for Unit 1 and Unit 2 with integrated, resource-loaded plans.
• Supervise scheduling staff, coaching and development.
• Coordinate outage strategy, scope, and readiness reviews with stake-holders.
• Evaluate durations, critical path, and resources to maintain credibility.
