Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks an Occupational Safety and Health Specialist, Mid, to provide OSH and SMS support to federal clients. You will identify hazards, assess risks, and help implement safe work practices across client operations.

Requirements include 10+ years in OSH, familiarity with OSHA standards (29 CFR 1910/1926/1960) and NFPA series, a Bachelor’s degree in safety-related field, and professional certifications (GSP/ASP/CSP/CIH). Travel up to 75% and U.S. citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of OSH experience including auditing workplaces for OSHA compliance.
• Familiarity with OSHA standards (29 CFR 1910/1926/1960) and NFPA 70/70E/101.
• Experience with safety management systems and technical reporting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and ability to communicate complex topics clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide OSH and SMS support to federal clients and audits/inspections.
• Identify hazards, assess risk, and develop mitigation plans.
• Review policies, SOPs, and regulatory guidance; deliver OSH training.
• Generate technical reports and data analysis; travel up to 75%.
