Job summary

The City of Fort Worth, through its Organizational Development Division in Human Resources, seeks an Organizational Development Specialist to design and deliver leadership development programs for senior leaders, align development strategies across departments, and foster knowledge sharing citywide.

This role partners with executives to advance talent and succession planning while leveraging data and digital learning tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Public Administration, Organizational Development or related field.
Three (3) years of leadership or organizational development experience at increasing levels of responsibility, including working with executive leaders.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver tailored leadership development programs for senior leaders and executives.
Create initiatives that build engagement and knowledge-sharing between executives and employees.
Curate citywide events connecting senior leadership with high-performing staff.
Assess department training needs and develop aligned development strategies.
Lead engaging, high-quality new hire orientation experiences.
Develop interactive communications to promote learning and growth opportunities.
Support training logistics, event planning, and stakeholder coordination.
