Job summary

Avis Budget Group seeks a Senior Manager, Financial Systems - Oracle EPM to lead the Oracle EPM architecture, enforce security, and drive continuous improvement across planning, forecasting, and reporting. You will partner with Finance and IT to prioritize the roadmap, oversee data integrations, and mentor technical teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 8-10+ years of Oracle EPM experience, including Oracle Cloud Planning (PBCS/EPBCS).
• 3-5 years leading technical teams or enterprise implementations.
• Expert knowledge of Oracle Planning (PBCS/EPBCS), including configuration, metadata, business rules, calculations, security, integrations, and automation using EPM Automate.
• Experience with FCCS, EDMCS, Data Management, and Oracle reporting tools (SmartView/Financial Reporting).
• Extensive knowledge of Excel, SmartView, and Essbase Spreadsheet Add-in.
• Experience with REST APIs, OIC, and SQL or scripting languages (PowerShell or Python).
• Experience supporting global finance organizations and governance of COA and segment hierarchies.
• Oracle Cloud certifications (ERP Financials and/or Oracle EPM) strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; able to partner with senior leaders.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented mindset.
• Experience with Narrative Reporting and Groovy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the Oracle EPM technical architecture with focus on scalability, performance, security, and standards.
• Evaluate new Oracle EPM features and cloud updates; assess business impact and adoption strategies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Oracle EPM admins, developers, and analysts.
• Lead platform upgrades, patch testing, regression testing, and deployments.
• Define and prioritize the Oracle EPM roadmap with Finance leadership.
• Design and oversee integrations between Oracle EPM and ERP systems.
• Build and maintain automated data loads using EPM Automate, Data Integration, REST APIs, and scripting.
• Monitor integrations and resolve data integrity issues.
• Establish governance for metadata, hierarchies, and master data changes.
• Ensure SOX compliance and change management standards; manage vendor relationships.
• Drive automation to shorten planning cycles and reduce manual effort.
• Support monthly forecasting, annual planning, and financial close; lead the Finance AI strategy.
