Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking a Senior Manager, Financial Systems – Oracle EPM to lead the Oracle Cloud EPM platform, collaborate with Finance and IT, and drive upgrades, governance, and automation across planning, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting. This role focuses on performance, security, and continuous improvement.

You will mentor admins and developers, manage vendor relationships, and advance the EPM roadmap while supporting monthly close and AI-enabled finance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, IS, CS, or related field.
• 8–10+ years of Oracle EPM experience, including PBCS/EPBCS.
• 3–5 years leading technical teams or enterprise implementations.
• Expert knowledge of Oracle Planning (PBCS/EPBCS) including configuration, metadata, rules, security, and automation.
• Experience with FCCS, EDMCS, Data Management, and Oracle reporting tools including SmartView.
• Extensive knowledge of Excel, SmartView, and Essbase.
• Experience with REST APIs, OIC, and SQL or scripting languages (PowerShell or Python) preferred.
• Oracle Cloud certifications strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the Oracle EPM technical architecture for scalability, security, and standards.
• Evaluate new Oracle EPM features and cloud updates with business impact.
• Lead and mentor Oracle EPM admins, developers, and analysts.
• Oversee platform upgrades, patch testing, and deployments.
• Partner with Finance to define and prioritize the Oracle EPM roadmap.
• Design integrations between Oracle EPM and ERP systems.
• Automate data loads using EPM Automate, Data Integration, REST APIs, and scripting.
• Monitor integrations and data integrity; resolve issues.
• Establish governance for metadata, hierarchies, and master data changes.
• Ensure SOX compliance, audit readiness, and change management.
• Manage relationships with Oracle, partners, and vendors.
• Drive continuous process improvement and automation to reduce cycle times.
• Support monthly forecasting, annual planning, and close processes.
• Lead Finance AI strategy to leverage Oracle AI capabilities.
