Job summary

Optum is seeking an Associate Director of Strategic Operations & Client Transformation to drive strategic planning, operations transformation, and AI-enabled service improvements across care delivery and markets. This role partners with NSC, AI initiatives, PMOs and frontline teams to align initiatives with enterprise priorities and optimize patient and provider outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, PMP or related operational excellence are preferred.
• 7+ years in healthcare operations, contact center operations, client management, consulting, or program management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic roadmaps aligning priorities across service operations, markets, PMOs and call teams.
• Lead transformations to improve efficiency, scalability and customer experience.
• Serve as a liaison for AI initiatives and ensure successful deployment of AI-enabled solutions.
• Manage executive-level relationships with Markets, CDOs and operational leaders.
• Consult with stakeholders to identify opportunities for operational improvements and new operating models.
• Provide SME guidance across planning, deployment, stabilization and optimization phases.
