Job summary

Targa Resources is seeking an Operations Training Manager to design, lead, and refine training programs across G&P disciplines. This strategic role focuses on recruiting developmental technicians in the Permian Basin while supporting other G&P areas.

You will translate standards into learning paths, coordinate rotations, partner with HR, Operations, and external vendors, and measure outcomes to drive safety and workforce sustainability.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in a midstream operational discipline (plant, field, maintenance, I&E, or measurement).
• Cross-functional experience across multiple operational disciplines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and improve operations training programs for G&P roles.
• Develop recruiting strategies with HR and Trade Schools.
• Translate standards into training materials and learning paths.
• Coordinate technical training assignments across G&P operations.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through measurable business outcomes.
