Xcel Energy is seeking an Operations Scheduler to plan and manage a multi-week, region-wide work schedule. You will coordinate resources, prioritize tasks, and ensure on-time performance while meeting safety and compliance metrics.

The role supports field teams and regional operations across a designated area. The position requires a strong background in scheduling, data analysis, and proficiency with Microsoft tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Five years of experience in construction, design, maintenance or other operations.
• Ability to schedule and manage work activities meeting stakeholder requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, meeting management and facilitation.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet tools and data retrieval from reporting tools.
• Experience with Microsoft products and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan a multi-week region-wide work schedule based on demand, priorities, resources, and guidelines.
• Manage resources across region and optimize costs while maximizing schedule adherence and safety.
• Forecast resource utilization and recommend crew sourcing changes.
• Ensure compliance work is scheduled within required timeframes and tasks are correctly assigned.
• Communicate with supervisors and stakeholders to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Drive customer satisfaction by adhering to scheduling processes.
