The role emphasizes effective communication with supervisors and customers, with advanced scheduling and data-retrieval skills to support efficient field operations and timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum five years of experience in construction, design, maintenance or operations (utility experience preferred).
• Scheduling/planning experience in utility or construction industry.
• Analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel or other spreadsheet tools.
• Ability to retrieve and manipulate data from reporting tools.
• Knowledge of Microsoft products, work management, mapping and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Adjust planned schedules daily and assign crews for priority tasks based on resources and progress.
• Review and manage exceptions outside the normal scheduling window and reassign tasks as needed.
• Review work packets, coordinate equipment and materials, and ensure job readiness.
• Triage rejections, manage disruptions, and communicate schedule updates to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with supervisors and stakeholders to maximize productivity and efficiency.
