Job summary

ANSER is seeking a Strategic Operational Planner (Journeyman) to support INDOPACOM headquarters in the development, revision, and review of Operational Plans (OPLANS), Contingency Plans (CONPLANS), and Campaign Plans. You will assist senior planners by contributing research, analysis, and planning inputs that enable effective operational design and execution.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of operational planning experience at a service component, MAJCOM, COCOM, or equivalent.
• 8 years minimum total professional experience.
• Familiarity with service and joint doctrine.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff planners in developing strategic and operational concepts for new OPLANs/CONPLANs and branch plans.
• Conduct research, gather data, and prepare planning inputs to support senior planners during plan development and updates.
• Help coordinate with higher, adjacent, and supporting headquarters to ensure planning alignment and proper employment of forces.
• Review assigned portions of OPLANS/CONPLANS and provide draft comments or recommendations for senior planner review.
• Maintain awareness of theaterrelevant issues and assist in preparing planning products, briefings, and reports.
