ANSER in the United States is seeking a Principal Strategic Operational Planner to provide technical leadership and direction to PACOM headquarters or a component staff in developing, revising, and reviewing OPLANs, CONPLANs, and Campaign Plans. Ideal candidates bring 12+ years of operations planning, an active TS/SCI clearance, and deep knowledge of joint doctrine, with strong MS Office skills. This is a full-time role with competitive compensation.
Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance.
Master's degree; will consider 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s.
12+ years of operations planning experience across MAJCOM/ Combatant Command or equivalent.
In-depth knowledge of operational planning, service and joint doctrine.
Understanding of C2IE and JOPES and other requirements tools.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
Working knowledge of the Pacific theater and inter-country relationships.
Responsibilities
Assist staff planners in developing strategic and operational concepts for new OPLANs/CONPLANs and possible branch plans to existing OPLANS/CONPLANs.
Recommend changes to planning procedures and approaches to staff and subordinate commands.
Support higher, adjacent, and supporting headquarters planning to ensure proper employment of forces; review and comment on regional OPLANs/CONPLANs.
