Job summary

ANSER is seeking a Principal Strategic Operational Planner. You will provide technical leadership for PACOM HQ or a component staff in developing, revising, and reviewing Operational Plans (OPLANS), Contingency Plans (CONPLANS), and Campaign Plans.

This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance, a Master’s degree (or 8+ years with a Bachelor’s), and 12+ years of operations planning experience, plus deep knowledge of joint doctrine, C2IE, JOPES, and common planning tools.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Master's degree; 8 years with a Bachelor's.
• 12+ years of operations planning experience with MAJCOM/Combatant Command.
• Deep knowledge of operational planning and joint doctrine.
• Understanding of C2IE, JOPES and other planning tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint).
• Working knowledge of the Pacific theater and inter-country relations.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff planners in developing strategic and operational concepts for OPLANs/CONPLANs and branch plans.
• Recommend changes to planning procedures and methods to staffs.
• Support HQ planning ensuring proper employment of forces; review regional OPLANs/CONPLANs.
