Job summary

HMSHost in the Baltimore/Washington region is seeking an Operations Performance Controller to oversee financial and operational analytics for multiple airport locations. You will monitor KPI performance, lead variance analyses, and support joint ventures across F&B, Duty Paid, and Duty Free segments.

The role requires 6+ years in financial analysis or accounting, leadership experience, and advanced Excel/financial modeling skills.

Qualifications

• 6+ years combined education and professional experience in financial analysis or accounting.
• 2 years of leadership/supervisory experience preferred.
• Hospitality, F&B and/or Retail experience is a plus.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills are required.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations is beneficial.
• Strong financial acumen and variance analysis ability.

Responsibilities

• Track company financial metrics across assigned area to drive sales, cost and labor efficiency.
• Support development projects by evaluating financial risks and returns of new opportunities.
• Partner with branch management to improve store performance via KPI reviews and cost controls.
• Evaluate accounting processes and provide analysis to support sales growth and expense reductions.
• Maintain compliance with company standards and policies within the operations control environment.
• Provide training on KPIs and inventory/cost optimization; support joint venture reviews.
