Job summary

Picogrid, a defense-technology company in El Segundo, CA, is hiring a Strategy & Operations Manager. You'll build the cadence, frameworks, and analyses that turn ambition into executable plans and drive cross-functional initiatives from definition to delivery.

You'll partner with senior leaders across Engineering, Finance, Operations, and People, own priority work end-to-end, and help decide where to invest next.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in management consulting, corporate strategy, or related roles at tech/defense firms.
• Proven cross-functional project ownership from problem definition through execution.
• Strong analytical and structured-thinking skills; able to build financial models and exec presentations.
• Experience translating strategy into executable plans with senior stakeholders.
• U.S. Person status required for ITAR environments.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred or demonstrated equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Set building cadence and operating rhythms for a fast-scaling company.
• Build the frameworks, models, and analyses behind major decisions about expansion, partnerships, and priorities.
• Partner with senior leaders to translate priorities into clear, executable plans and drive them to completion.
• Own high-priority cross-functional initiatives end-to-end from problem definition through implementation.
• Evaluate and implement tools and systems (CRM, ERP, project tracking, BI) tailored to our stage.
• Surface the right information with dashboards and leadership reporting.
• Identify bottlenecks and design improved workflows, driving adoption.
