Job summary

Planned Parenthood Federation of America seeks a Manager, Strategic Operations to support the External Affairs Budget & Resource Operations (BRO) team. You will supervise a Senior Specialist and provide independent recommendations, progress updates, risk assessments, and decision points.

You will work with program, finance, and procurement teams to ensure accurate contracting and payments, track workflows, and drive process improvements across External Affairs.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing contracts, budgets, and payments in a large nonprofit.
• Ability to coordinate across procurement, finance, and program teams.
• Strong communication and reporting skills for senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a Senior Specialist on the Budget & Resource Operations team.
• Liaise between procurement, finance, and program teams for contracting documents and payments.
• Track contract workflows and identify delays or errors.
• Improve contracting and payment processes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external requirements.
• Monitor budget commitments and discrepancies across External Affairs.
• Support training and documentation for staff on processes.
