Job summary

Hyve Solutions in Reno, NV is seeking a detail-oriented logistics professional to plan and manage warehousing, transportation and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will direct the full order cycle, develop and enforce policies, maintain inventory accuracy, and coordinate material movement while ensuring safety and compliance. The role requires 8-10 years in warehousing/logistics and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years’ experience in a Warehouse/Logistics/Factory environment.
• Must have background managing logistics of a factory environment or similar.
• Inventory Control experience preferred.
• Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics or a related discipline is preferred.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
• First-Aid or CPR certification would be an asset.
• Advanced skills in MS Office, Access and proficient in Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Proven experience and success within a computerized order entry and fulfillment environment.
• Must be analytical and possess problem solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services.
• Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle.
• Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures and material control systems.
• Develop employees in Operations including training, productivity standards, and annual reviews.
• Control warehouse inventory, equipment and consumables; conduct physical counts and reconcile with the system.
• Develop material schedules and coordinate efficient movement of materials.
• Communicate with carriers, suppliers, service vendors, labor agencies and 3PL providers.
• Maintain high inbound/outbound transportation service levels at lowest cost.
• Manage vendor routing compliance, inbound lead times and cost.
• Ensure ongoing internal process-control compliance.
• Adhere to health & safety practices and report hazards or violations to employer.
