Job summary

Bonneville Environmental Foundation (BEF) is seeking an Operations Manager to lead BEF's internal operations backbone, ensuring systems, facilities, vendor management, and compliance are efficient and scalable in support of the mission.

Reporting to the CFO/VP of Operations, you will hire and supervise the Office Administrator, drive cross‑functional planning with program teams, and partner with HR and Learning & Development to support professional growth and performance across the BEF team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive operations experience, with 2–3 years in a management or supervisory role, preferably nonprofit.
• Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
• Strong project management capabilities; ability to present complex information to executives and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of nonprofit governance, compliance requirements, and risk management best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement BEF's operational strategy in alignment with mission and annual priorities.
• Lead hiring and onboarding for the Office Administrator; supervise and mentor the role.
• Oversee operations, facilities, vendors, and IT MSP relationships; ensure compliance and governance.
• Manage annual operations budget and procurement with internal controls.
• Support cross‑functional planning with program teams and executive leadership.
