Job summary

Ignite Digital seeks an experienced Operations Manager to support a U.S. Navy software maintenance program. The role requires strategic business leadership across large-scale DoN environments and the ability to drive transformational improvements in complex technical organizations.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in maintenance, logistics, and modern software development methodologies, with the capacity to influence executive leadership and optimize mission-critical operations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business, Organizational Development, Education, Engineering, Physical Science or business-related specialty.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Software Development Certification or Engineering/Technology-related certification.
• 10 years of operations management experience including strategic planning, governance, and organizational performance management.
• Minimum three (3) years of executive-level business experience.
• Recognized expert in maintenance, logistics, and business systems or software development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic business management activities supporting a U.S. Navy software maintenance project.
• Conduct analysis, facilitate problem-solving efforts, identify gaps, and develop actionable recommendations yielding measurable efficiency improvements for end-users.
• Develop corporate strategic documentation, performance management frameworks, governance structures, and change-management artifacts guiding major initiatives.
• Provide executive-level advisory support to senior government and contractor leadership.
• Lead strategic planning, stakeholder alignment, and organizational transformation related to Navy software maintenance and logistics systems.
• Evaluate current and future-state processes ensuring alignment with mission objectives and improved operational effectiveness.
