Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Progressive experience in operations and plant management, preferably in logistics.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents; present to management.
• Strong PC skills including email, databases, spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily activities of a logistics operation to maximize scheduling and delivery of commodities to the customer.
• Interface with customer to ensure smooth coordination of scheduling and adherence; adjust staffing as needed.
• Enact contingency plans and troubleshoot system problems; report issues to leadership.
• Review performance against targets and take corrective action as authorized.
• Provide effective leadership to Warehouse Managers and teams, enforcing standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
