Job summary

USA Compression Partners, LP seeks a Senior Manager of Operations to lead fleet maintenance philosophy execution and drive safety, efficiency and profitability. Reporting to the Regional Director of Operations, you will manage 5-8 Area Service Managers and up to 300,000 HP of compression equipment.

You will oversee budgeting, finance, strategy, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring adherence to company initiatives: Culture, Equipment, and Service, while delivering strong performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in the natural gas compression industry.
• Extensive knowledge of natural gas compression equipment and processes.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
• Strong communication skills written and verbal.
• Experience in team related organizations and adept at conflict management.
• Experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management.
• Strong business acumen and utilization and management of human capital.
• Ability to understand written and verbal communication from the company and supervisor including training, procedures, instructions, etc.
• Applicant must have the ability to legally work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety adherence and that all service standards are met.
• Hire, coach, motivate, manage performance, and handle disciplinary actions according to policy.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with regional teams to set standards and best practices.
• Monitor and improve efficiency of support services and coordinate between functions.
• Hire, retain, develop and train the operations team.
• Review financial statements and use data to improve profitability.
• Prepare and control operation budgets.
• Develop strategies for the company’s financial well being.
