Job summary

Thunder Compute in San Francisco is hiring a hands‑on operations leader to help the founders operate and scale the company. You will work closely with the CEO to own the most pressing operational challenges, spanning strategy, recruiting, finance, sales, and partnerships.

This full-time, in‑person role offers broad responsibility, meaningful equity, and the chance to shape how the company builds its GPU infrastructure layer and grows with early customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Exceptional organization and project‑management ability.
• Strong analytical reasoning and structured problem‑solving.
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication.
• Ability to quickly understand technical products and communicate with engineers, customers, and investors.
• Strong judgment about prioritization, tradeoffs, and when to escape an issue.
• Ability to manage multiple complex workstreams without losing track of details.
• Comfort with financial models, business analyses, and quantitative information.

Responsibilities

• Operate and scale the company in collaboration with the CEO.
• Cover strategy, operations, recruiting, finance, sales, and partnerships as needed.
• Own company-wide processes, goals, and reporting.
• Coordinate complex customer deployments and board/ investor materials.
• Identify problems early and drive timely resolution.
