Harbor Logistics LLC in North Charleston, SC is seeking a Director of Strategy & Operations to own the company’s most important strategic initiatives. You’ll transform ambiguous problems into clear decisions, absorb and align data across functions, and drive execution with executive influence.

You will lead strategic analysis, frame decisions, and manage cross-functional projects across sales, operations, finance and IT.

Qualifications

• Strategic analysis: break ambiguous problems into parts, extract data, and reach sound recommendations (Excel/PowerPoint).
• Clear written and verbal communication, turning data into concise executive memos.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects to completion without direct reports.
• Fluency with AI tools for research, analysis, drafting and tracking.
• Ability to maintain strategic focus while adapting to changing priorities and ambiguity.
• Discretion in handling confidential matters and making sound judgments.
• Strong ownership mindset with ability to drive initiatives end-to-end.
• Willingness to invest significant time, including after hours when needed.
• MBA or equivalent experience and 5–10 years in related strategy roles in private equity or high-growth environments.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or warehousing preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead and drive Harbor's highest-priority strategic initiatives from framing through decision and execution.
• Build and stress-test analyses for business-unit economics, pricing, and org design.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects across sales, operations, finance, HR and IT to prevent stalls.
• Draft concise memos and communicate decisions clearly to executives.
• Own the 90-day onboarding plan and establish priority trackers, milestones, and cadence.
• Ensure leadership messages are consistent and decisions are well-documented.
