Job summary

Recidiviz is seeking an Operational Excellence Lead to connect long-horizon strategy with internal execution. You will build the operating cadence, information flow, and forums to run performance-versus-plan at every level, and own follow-through to keep decisions aligned with strategy.

You will lead cross-functional reviews, manage OKR processes, and drive data-driven resourcing decisions, partnering with leaders across Impact, Engineering, and Finance.

Qualifications

• Senior operator with background in product management, product operations or program management.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort with data, able to pull analyses and build data-driven cases.
• High emotional intelligence to work with senior leaders and drive ownership.
• Excellent synthesis and written communication to articulate strategy clearly.
• Bias toward clarity and simplification to minimize meetings while maintaining rigor.
• Experience running OKR or performance-versus-plan processes at scale.
• Experience in government/public-sector, or mission-driven/nonprofit context.

Responsibilities

• Own the connective layer between long-term vision and near-term execution.
• Run performance-versus-plan and OKR processes across the organization, define outcomes and reporting cadence.
• Consolidate ownership and define explicit decision-making and escalation paths.
• Lead internal communications on impact metric progress and coordinate cross-team case studies.
• Partner with Talent to create an org-wide communications calendar and content.
