Job summary

Aardvark Tax Advisors is seeking a Chief of Staff-style leader to support the Managing Director and executive team, owning problems and driving them to resolution. The role blends strategic oversight with hands-on execution, spanning tasks from insurance renewals to diligence checklists for acquisitions.

You’ll build plans, analyze needs, manage operating rhythms, and help scale the practice. Ideal candidates are curious, organized, and able to document repeatable processes while protecting

Qualifications

• 3–7 years in a fast-paced role such as operations, consulting, banking, a startup, or a professional services firm.
• A track record of owning messy, ambiguous projects from start to finish.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort using AI tools in day-to-day work.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Build long-term plans with owners, milestones and budgets.
• Dig into practice needs and gather data to form recommendations.
• Run the operating rhythm with agendas, decisions, and follow-ups.
• Be a force multiplier by unblocking projects and documenting repeatable processes.
• Take on special projects like acquisitions, data analysis, vendor contracts, licensing and registrations.
