Job summary

Google is seeking a Strategy and Operations Program Manager within Google Cloud Security (GCS) to act as the operational foundation for critical resources. You will own OpEx and headcount management, partner with Finance and People Ops, and drive high-impact operational programs across leadership levels.

You will coordinate budgets, hiring velocity, dashboards, and risk mitigation, helping the team scale with flexible, data-driven decision making in a rapidly evolving cloud security landscape.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in management consulting, product management, and strategy in a tech company.
• 5 years of experience in program or project management.
• 5 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
• Experience in product strategy, financial analysis, business generation strategy, economics, executive communication, and go-to-market strategies.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects across the Engineering portfolio and deliver executive level briefings; prepare VPs for critical meetings and engagements.
• Drive end-to-end budget lifecycle for the org, including planning, reporting, and spend optimization; liaise with Finance for commitments and insights.
• Own headcount data integrity; track hiring progress and transfers; align hiring with budget and goals.
• Develop and maintain operational dashboards tracking budget health and hiring velocity.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify bottlenecks and present recommendations to GCS leadership.
