Job summary

Republic Airways is offering an internship program designed to sharpen analytics and data storytelling skills. Interns will work onsite at the Carmel, NY headquarters, shadow departments, and participate in development workshops while contributing to dashboards and business insights.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in analytical fields with a minimum 3.0 GPA, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Tableau or Power BI.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree (B.A. / B.S.) in Aviation Management, Industrial Management, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related analytical field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Advanced analytical skills using Excel, including PivotTables, Power Query, formulas, and basic data modeling.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a business group.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Tableau or Microsoft Power BI or other data visualization product.

Responsibilities

• Aggregate, analyze, and transform data from various sources into dashboards, reports, and insights.
• Analyze operational performance, capacity trends, and resource constraints to identify improvements.
• Prepare or reconcile budgets/data for Operations.
• Develop automated tools, dashboards, and performance metrics to track performance.
• Display information on data visualization platforms to support management decisions.
• Develop new reporting/analytic methods to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Utilize AI, automation, and advanced analytics to improve reporting and processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Aggregate, analyze, and transform data from a variety of sources into actionable dashboards, reports, and business insights
• Analyze operational performance, capacity trends, and resource constraints to identify improvement opportunities and support planning decisions
• Prepare or reconcile budgets/data for various parts of Operations
• Develop automated tools, dashboards, and performance metrics to track operational performance and resource utilization
• Display information on data visualization platforms to support management decision making
• Develop new reporting and analytical methods to improve process efficiency and accuracy
• Utilize AI, automation, and advanced analytics tools to improve reporting efficiency and business processes, where appropriate
• Communicate financial and technical information to cross-departmental teams
• Perform other duties, analyses, reports, and presentations as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree (B.A. / B.S.) in Aviation Management, Industrial Management, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or other related analytical fields
• Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
• Advanced analytical skills using Excel, including PivotTables, Power Query, formulas, and basic data modeling.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a business group

• Familiarity with Tableau or Microsoft Power BI or other data visualization product

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to work onsite at our Carmel Headquarters location, unless otherwise directed by manager.
• Ability to work up to 40 hours per week with a minimum of 20 hours for spring and fall interns
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship

• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
