Job summary

Aloha United Way in Honolulu, HI seeks an Operations Manager to lead cross-departmental processes across governance, operations, and information management. You will partner with the VP of Operations and CEO to implement SOPs and manage projects from scope to completion.

The role requires independent judgment, strong communication, and ability to oversee office operations, vendor relationships, and staff engagement initiatives. A bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; field in business/non-profit management or related area preferred.
• 5 years of experience in operations or related field.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary board liaison; coordinate governance matters with Board Chair, officers, and committee chairs.
• Own and manage the annual board and committee calendar, scheduling and logistics.
• Lead agenda development with CEO, VPs, and board leadership; prepare board packets and materials.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and process documentation across operational workflows.
• Manage cross-departmental operational projects from scoping through completion; drive progress and accountability.
