University of Vermont in Burlington, VT seeks a Business Manager to lead the business operations for Student Involvement and Davis Center Operations and Events within Student Life. You will manage budgets, contracts, procurement, and equipment planning while aligning with institutional priorities.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and 3–5 years of related experience, with strong HR, analytics, and communication skills. Exempt, 37.5 hours/week.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related area; 3–5 years of related experience required.
• Budget management, coordination and analysis; HR and employee relations experience required.
• Ability to develop and implement business processes; strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with productivity software; intermediate–advanced knowledge of spreadsheet applications.
• Strong organizational skills, critical thinking, planning and problem solving.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise HR/financial software such as PeopleSoft and PeopleAdmin.

Mansioni

• Serve as the business operations lead for Student Involvement and Davis Center Operations and Events within the Department of Student Life.
• Oversee budgeting, contracting, procurement, capital and equipment planning, and compliance-related functions.
• Act as liaison to central HR and support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and policy interpretation.
