Job summary

Michels Corporation is seeking an Operations Financial Manager to provide financial and accounting oversight for the system transaction support center in Houston. You will deliver accurate financial insights to leadership and identify opportunities to enhance processes while managing a high-performing team.

You will analyze information, make timely decisions, and clearly communicate financial matters to business leaders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent; 7+ years of related experience.
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with financial reporting tools.
Experience with ERP driven financial management environments.
Experience with Power BI or Tableau for analytics and reporting.
Experience with financial consolidation is a plus.
Construction industry experience is desirable.
Valid driver license for applicable vehicle types.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team, including hiring, training, and developing employees; provide regular feedback and performance evaluations.
Serve as the point of contact for inquiries from business leads and maintain service levels with departments.
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual operational reporting and analytics; measure and report key financial performance metrics.
Provide resources and information to meet business needs; maintain open communication with business leads.
Lead special projects to strengthen analysis and implement process and system enhancements in collaboration with IT and other teams.
