Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a strategic and results-driven Operations Efficiency Manager to lead operational excellence initiatives at our facility in Welkom. This senior role requires deep expertise in industrial processes, supply chain dynamics, and workforce management to drive productivity and cost-efficiency.

You will develop and implement strategic plans, oversee Lean Six Sigma projects, manage budgets, and mentor a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years in operations management, with 5+ years in leadership for process improvement.
• Black Belt Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Proven track record of managing complex operational transformations.
• Strong financial acumen with budgeting and cost control.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategy for operational efficiency and cost reduction.
• Lead Lean Six Sigma projects to eliminate waste and standardize processes.
• Oversee supply chain optimization, inventory and logistics to improve throughput and reduce lead times.
• Establish KPIs and reporting to monitor performance and drive accountability.
• Manage budgets and allocate resources to strategic objectives.
• Mentor and develop the operations team.
