Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) Airborne Multifunction Sensors Division seeks a Chief of Staff Manager/Project Management 1 for an Operating Unit within the Global Mission Solutions BU. The on-site role is based in Baltimore, MD, reporting to the Global Mission Solutions BU Chief of Staff.

Responsibilities include reviewing project status and budgets, resource planning, meeting facilitation, and supporting administrative functions for the Operating Unit Director.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s with relevant experience; U.S. government contracts experience.
• Experience in project/program management and cross-functional leadership.
• Experience analyzing financial performance and budgets.
• U.S. citizenship and DoD Secret clearance (ability to obtain TS/SCI).

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of the AOP/LRSP investments with resource planning.
• Provide strategic advice on financial performance and resource allocation.
• Track financial and operational metrics and provide insights.
• Lead initiatives to improve productivity and financial performance within the P&L structure.
• Monitor budgets for capital and investments and identify risks and opportunities.
• Prepare the Operating Unit Director for senior meetings and customer engagements.
• Coordinate deliverables across staff and ensure on-time delivery.
• Promote a collaborative, high-performance environment and clear role definitions.
• Facilitate internal communication on progress of key priorities.
