Job summary

UNFPA seeks an OED Operations and Budget Compliance Analyst to coordinate day-to-day operational requirements across procurement, travel, ICT, asset management and logistics. The role supports budget monitoring, procurement processes and travel arrangements for senior leadership.

The incumbent will assist in risk management, governance processes and preparation of documentation, trackers and follow-up actions to ensure timely delivery of operational priorities within UNFPA policies.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required (Master’s or equivalent) in finance, accounting, economics, or public administration.
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in financial analysis, budget analysis, risk analysis or management reporting.
• Proficiency with data analysis, spreadsheets and BI tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operational requirements across procurement, travel, ICT, asset management and logistics.
• Monitor budget utilization and prepare regular updates for supervisor review.
• Support procurement planning and documentation in accordance with policies.
• Coordinate travel, missions, and senior leadership events and ensure timely follow-up actions.
• Support risk management and corporate processes through documentation and trackers.
• Provide administrative support to the Chief of Staff and OED management.
