Job summary

United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) is seeking an OED Operations and Budget Compliance Analyst to provide professional operational coordination across financial management, procurement, travel, ICT, asset management and logistics for senior leadership meetings, events and missions.

The role reports to the Risk and Opportunities Specialist under the Chief of Staff and supports the Office of the Executive Director in coordinating and implementing operational activities in line with UNFPA

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master’s or equivalent) in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, public administration, management or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in financial analysis, budget analysis, risk analysis or management reporting.
• Knowledge of financial management, budgeting, internal controls and risk management principles. Familiarity with UN/UNFPA or international organizations is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operational requirements across OED and service providers.
• Monitor expenditures, commitments and budget utilization and prepare updates for review.
• Support procurement, travel, ICT, asset management and logistics processes.
• Assist risk management and corporate processes with documentation, trackers and follow-up actions.
