Job summary

Fastly in Denver, CO is seeking an experienced Operations Analyst to partner with engineering, product management, analytics, finance and others to develop and manage engineering, financial, and technical processes, execute key operational cadences, and drive successful business outcomes.

You will champion scalable workflows, improve visibility, and help the team navigate ambiguity with disciplined documentation and training while supporting a largely hybrid work model and occasional travel as

Qualifications

• 4+ years in business operations or related functions, with exposure to product or engineering teams.
• Strong attention to detail within a big picture context.
• Proven ability to lead initiatives by influence and collaboration.
• Effective communication across multiple levels, including distributed teams.
• Bias for action and incremental improvement; ability to document processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mature cross-organizational processes including Product Lifecycle, Engineering Ops, software capitalization, and others
• Operationalize and mature emerging processes around FinOps and cloud spend management
• Instill discipline and consistency within the Product and Engineering teams in terms of operational methodologies and documentation, working with Senior Director & VP level resources
• Work closely with cross-functional resources as primary point of contact to improve communications, enhance visibility, and measure results of different strategic portfolios
• Champion tooling and process improvements that help the team and Fastly scale
