Job summary

AWS Open Source is seeking an experienced Program Manager to join the Open Source Strategy and Marketing team in Seattle. You will own and execute complex programs that impact customer experience and perception, driving strategic roadmaps and operational improvements across the company.

The role requires a software development background and strong PM experience, with the ability to influence across technical and non-technical teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and deliver end-to-end

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
• 3+ years of driving end to end delivery with senior leadership communication.
• Experience building processes, project management, and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Proactively drive program strategy and roadmap.
• Collaborate with business and development teams to analyze cost/benefit of project selection.
• Manage all aspects of project execution from design to implementation.
• Define functional requirements and specifications, high-level processes, and system solutions.
• Maintain relationships with open source foundations and standards bodies.
• Develop project plans to track milestones, deliverables, deadlines, and post-mortems.
• Coordinate with technology teams across the world to drive technical changes.
